Terms and Conditions for fat check

Welcome to FatCheck, a mobile application operated by VMGM Software LLC ("Company," "we," or "us"). By accessing or using the FatCheck app ("App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. These Terms may be updated from time to time, and we will notify you of significant changes by sending an email to the address you provided or by posting a notice in the App.

2. FatCheck Services
The App allows users to scan receipts and bills, making it easy to split costs with friends. The App uses image recognition to process scanned receipts and break down costs.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian. By using the App, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

4. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for ensuring that the receipts or bills you upload are accurate and lawful.
- You agree not to misuse the App by uploading inappropriate, false, or unlawful content.
- You are responsible for the security and confidentiality of your account login information.
- You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise misuse any part of the App’s code or functionality.

5. Data Collection and Use
By using the App, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. This may include:
- Receipt and Bill Data: Information you upload, such as images of receipts and bills.
- Personal Information: Contact details such as your email address, as well as any profile information you provide.
- Analytics Data: Usage data collected via Firebase to improve the App's performance and user experience.

We use Firebase for user data storage and analytics purposes. For more details on how we collect and use data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

6. Subscriptions and Payments
The App offers certain features as premium services, which require a subscription or one-time payment. Subscription services are billed on a recurring basis, as specified in the App. You will be charged based on the subscription plan you choose. All payments will be processed through the App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

You are responsible for managing your subscription through the App Store or Google Play Store, including cancellations or changes to the subscription plan. We are not responsible for handling or managing payments directly.

7. Intellectual Property
All content and intellectual property within the App are owned by VMGM Software LLC. You may not modify, copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without explicit permission from us.

8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in unlawful or inappropriate behavior. You may also terminate your account by uninstalling the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee that the App will meet your specific requirements or be available without interruptions or errors. We are not responsible for any errors in receipt or bill processing.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VMGM Software LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
